Colleagues from our Bath and Cardiff offices played on the hallowed ground of Twerton Park yesterday evening in the first Bath City FC partners tournament. Abel + Imray competed against 7 other local business teams including clients Rocketmakers and fellow law firm Thrings.
We were instrumental in creating the tournament idea and championing the mixed gender focus of the event with each team ensuring that at least one female player was on the pitch during every game. It was a challenging night with plenty of unwelcome rain showers and 3 tough short games that required some hardy defence and goal keeping by the team.
