We are pleased to announce some promotions in the Abel + Imray IP Admin team.
Elaine Alison, Ellie Pilott, and Marloes Veger are now Senior Paralegals. Michelle Baiton and Jody Wong are now Paralegals.
Elaine provides invaluable support to the team, and is always quick to volunteer to help out. All those that have worked with Elaine comment on her supportive nature and constructive approach to solving problems.
Ellie has continuously strived to take on more responsibility and new challenges, and passed the CITMA Paralegal exam with flying colours. Ellie is proactive and always willing to help and train others in the team. She also plays a key part in many Diversity & Inclusion initiatives for the firm, and organising events such as the annual Abel + Imray Summer party.
Marloes joined A+I just after the Delft office opened at the end of 2021, and has played an integral part in setting up and developing our branch in The Netherlands. As well as taking a proactive role in overseeing day to day tasks in the office right from the start, Marloes has worked with Ellen Streekstra and Mayke van Wanroij to create efficient ways of managing workflow in Delft and for handling the hand-over of work between Delft and our UK offices.
With a background of six years of working as a paralegal at a Hong Kong IP firm, Jody has hit the ground running since joining us.
Michelle provides superb support to Simon Haslam and other members of the Cardiff office. She has become a valuable member of the team, as well as providing excellent back-up support to the Bath and London teams.
