As a European Patent Attorney, Peri is able to represent clients in matters before the European Patent Office (EPO) and the Unified Patent Court (UPC).

Scientific Background
Before joining Abel + Imray, she graduated from Cardiff University with a Masters of Physics degree and a PhD in the application of Terahertz spectroscopy to investigate biological molecules. During her PhD she was part of the Astronomy Instrumentation Group (AIG) where she used the equipment and technology developed for space exploration to investigate biological molecules on Earth.
Experience
Peri joined Abel + Imray in 2018 and is based in our Cardiff office. Peri is a fluent Welsh speaker.
She works with both large international companies and growing SMEs. Peri’s work at Abel + Imray involves drafting and prosecution of patent applications and works with her clients to takes care of their patent portfolio. Key subject areas include:
- Optics
- Aerospace
- VR/AR technology
She is particularly interested in the field of medical physics, including medical devices and technology, and green/clean energy technology.
Peri is passionate about STEM communication and has made a number of appearances on the radio and TV.

Cyn ymuno ag Abel + Imray, graddiodd Peri o Brifysgol Caerdydd gyda Gradd Meistr mewn Ffiseg a PhD yn y defnydd o spectrosgopeg Terahertz i ymchwilio i foleciwlau biolegol. Yn ystod ei PhD roedd hi yn rhan o'r Grŵp Offerynnau Seryddiaeth (AIG) lle yr oedd yn defnyddio'r offer a'r dechnoleg a ddatblygwyd ar gyfer archwilio gofod i ymchwilio i foleciwlau biolegol ar y Ddaear.
Profiad
Ymunodd Peri ag Abel + Imray yn 2018 ac mae wedi’i lleoli yn ein swyddfa yng Nghaerdydd. Mae Peri yn siaradwr Cymraeg rhugl. Mae hi'n gweithio gyda chwmnïau rhyngwladol mawr a mentrau bach a chanolig (SMEs) sy'n tyfu. Mae gwaith Peri yn Abel + Imray yn cynnwys drafftio a phrosesu ceisiadau patent ac mae'n gweithio gyda'i chleientiaid i ofalu am eu portffolio patentau. Prif feysydd yn cynnwys:
